About Us

The Warricks have spent their working lives in the Adelaide metropolitan area.  As retirement approached they saw the need for a new challange.  After many weekends searching for land, they found an ideal 20 acre block on Leasingham Road, Watervale in the Clare Valley Wine Region.

Being new to the horticulture business they had a lot to learn. Phil completed an olive growing course with the WEA, met with many olive growers and joined both Olives SA and the Australian Olive Association.

Their aim was to produce premium Extra Virgin Olive Oil with just the right amount of spare time to enjoy the lifestyle offered to those living in the beautiful Clare Valley. To this end, with much advice and assistance from Malcolm and Hartley Lewis of Lewis Nursery at Buckland Park, they decided on planting for automation and chose the FS17 olive tree as the primary tree. This would allow for an early move to a commercial crop and a one day harvest and press, ensuring their oil is of the best quality, meeting the standards required to be labelled Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
